Sidley Austin Appoints New Co-Managing Partners for Singapore Office

Recently, Sidley Austin announced that Leonard Ng, a partner in London, and Manoj Bhargava, a capital markets partner in Singapore, will succeed Tai-Heng Cheng, a U.S. dispute resolution partner, and Charlie Wilson, a Singapore corporate and private equity partner, as co-managing partners of the firm's Singapore office.
Leonard Ng provided legal services to clients in the fields of banking and finance, investment funds, securities enforcement and regulation. He joined Sidley Austin in 1997 and has been working there ever since. Currently, he is a member of the firm's Executive Committee and head of the UK/EU Financial Services Regulatory Team.
Manoj Bhargava is currently co-head of Sidley Austin's India practice, focusing on international capital markets business, which covers initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and sale transactions, etc. Before joining Sidley Austin, he practiced at Debevoise & Plimpton and Jones Day successively.
