Clifford Chance has recently hired fund and investment management specialist Xing Liyong to its Hong Kong office as a partner. Previously, she practiced at Kirkland & Ellis.

Xing specialises in representing global and Asian fund sponsors in the structuring, establishment and governance of private investment funds, including venture capital, growth capital, buyouts, real estate, infrastructure, secondary markets and co-investments. Xing has successfully represented a number of private equity firms in setting up China-focused funds.

Xing previously joined Kirkland in 2014 and was promoted to partner of the firm in 2018. She earlier practiced in Sherman & Sterling's New York and Hong Kong offices.
