Mayer Brown has announced that Janelene Chan has joined the Banking and Finance group of Mayer Brown's Singapore office as a partner covering trade and other structured finance transactions. She was previously a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright.
Chen is experienced in providing legal services to financial institutions and corporate borrowers on a variety of cross-border financing matters, with particular expertise in trade finance (including accounts receivable financing, accounts payable financing and commodity financing), event driven financing, structured loans (such as asset-backed loans) and general banking matters. She is qualified to practice law in the UK and Singapore.
