Paul Hastings recently announced that Colin Diamond, a leading capital markets and public company adviser, has joined the firm's New York office as a partner and global Co-Chair of the Capital Markets practice.

Diamond was Chairman of White & Case's Public Company Advisory Group, Senior Director of the Capital Markets practice and a member of the Emerging Companies practice, where he focused on securities transactions across a variety of sectors, including technology, life sciences, energy and industrials.

Diamond has significant transaction experience in both the U.S. and international capital markets, including registered equity offerings, private placements and convertible debt offerings. Over the past 10 years, Diamond has completed 30 initial public offerings while representing public companies in a variety of matters related to U.S. securities laws, including proxy statements, SEC no objection letters, and continuing reporting requirements.
