Reed Smith recently announced the appointment of Singapore partner Johnny Lim as Asia co-chair of the firm’s Global Corporate Group. He will lead the global practice alongside Matthew Mohn (US) and Michael Young (EME).

Johnny Lim will succeed Denise Jong, who spent nearly a decade in the role and has been recently elected to the firm’s Executive Committee in September 2024.

Lim’s practice is focused on advising clients in financial services, logistics, and energy and natural resources with cross-border M&A, joint ventures, private equity, venture capital, capital markets, restructurings, and privatizations throughout China and Southeast Asia.
